Mark brings a strong story-telling component to his planning work, with a keen ability to make planning policy accessible to all citizens through film making, clear policy and regulations, mapping and visualizations.
Mark’s experience includes over a decade as an award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer with a focus on community building, housing, outdoor adventure, and social issues. In his planning work Mark focuses on the intersection of urban growth, housing and economics. Mark is a Community Planner with Bluerock Planning and a Masters of Planning Candidate at the University of Calgary.
