Bluerock’s Role: Senior leadership in Council and community engagement, policy-writing, document design and visioning.

Bluerock Planning in the partnership of V3 and TableTalk Engagement completed a comprehensive update to the City’s Municipal Development Plan. The project included extensive engagement with community members, local organizations, Council, and land developers.
The MDP and its bold vision will guide growth and development over the next 20+ years for the City. The MDP provides a strong focus on managing growth sustainably, infrastructure capacity, transportation, housing, economic development, and creating policies that are practical, easy to implement, and adaptable over time.
The project emphasized transparent communication, community buy-in, and producing a visually accessible and interactive planning document. It highlighted the importance of educating residents and stakeholders throughout the process to build trust and reduce misinformation around growth and land use planning. The MDP was adopted in September 2025.
